4. Multiply the derived Ah value with voltage to get watt hours (For example 4 times 5, which gives us 20)

Now that you have calculated the watt hours using this simple calculation, you can check if your power bank is safe to be carried on flight. If the total value of the watt hours comes to less than 100, you can safely carry it on flight. However, if the total value of the watt hours comes to more than 100 watt hours, you will not be allowed to carry the power bank on the flight.

In most cases, if the mAh value is less than 28,000 and the voltage of the power bank is around 3.6 or 3.7, you can take your power bank in the hand luggage.
